Chalk Talk for the win!
My class has been rocking our new reading curriculum, Wit and Wisdom. Students have been nailing new procedures, really giving it their all, and been graceful with me as I teach something totally new. Yesterday students participated in a Chalk Talk to answer an essential question about our book Thank You, Mr, Falker. Students wrote their answers down quietly, then we took a class gallery walk to checkout/compare answers, after students discussed in collaborative groups.
