Mrs.Birchfield's class conducted a mock town council meeting to bring a chapter of our book to life! Everyone had a role from the book and stepped into the character's shoes to discuss the loss of hummingbirds and how it'll affect the town of Perchance!

Today, our Building Cardiac Emergency Response Team conducted a Project ADAM practice drill. This drill simulates the response to a sudden cardiac arrest and allows our team to practice the steps needed to ensure a quick, effective, and coordinated emergency response.
These drills are an important part of maintaining a safe school environment and help us continuously improve our readiness to protect all students, staff, and visitors.

Today, students in Mrs. Vās class worked hands-on to regroup while subtracting three-digit numbers! Groups extended their learning by working through the subtraction snack station, where they used Cheez-its, pretzel rods, and M&Ms as a real-life model for borrowing hundreds, tens, and ones. #besisthespottobe #bprd
