Mrs.Birchield's class participated in their first Engineering Challenge yesterday. They were challenged to build a boat that would float and hold 3 dominoes. They used the steps of the engineering process to design, create, and test their boats! 🚤

Today in Ms. McElmurry's class, we read The Invisible Boy and talked about the importance of showing kindness and making sure everyone feels seen, included, and valued. 💛
Our students have a special kindness challenge this week! When someone shows them kindness, they get to color a little more of their self-portrait. They’re also on the lookout for classmates whose pictures haven’t been colored much yet so they can make an extra effort to show them kindness.
Because in our class family, we don’t want anyone to feel invisible! 🥰✨
