🎨🔥 Poster Contest Winners! 🌲🦉
This poster contest was open to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. Students were asked to color Smokey Bear or Woodsy Owl, along with images that relate to them, while making sure each character was colored using the correct official colors.
These talented students were school-level winners, and their posters will now advance to the city level, then the state level, and finally the federal level in Washington, D.C., later this summer.
We are so proud of their creativity and hard work—good luck as they move on to the next rounds! 🎉👏

🌟 BES SPOTlight Students! 🌟
Our Badgers are off to a strong start, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🦡✨ These students were recognized by their teachers for working hard on their academics, giving their best effort each day, and showing kindness as they transition back into our school routines.
Their positive attitudes and dedication remind us what it means to live out our motto: Be kind, practice safety, respect others, and always do your best. Because of students like these, BES truly is the SPOT to be! ❤️
Way to go, Badgers—keep up the great work! 💫

It truly takes a team! When our cafeteria was shorthanded during lunch today, Officer Nappy jumped in to help serve lunch alongside our staff. Thank you for always being willing to help wherever needed! 👏

Here is our Winter ATLAS Testing Schedule. Please plan to have your students attend these dates.

Today, our Building Cardiac Emergency Response Team conducted a Project ADAM practice drill. This drill simulates the response to a sudden cardiac arrest and allows our team to practice the steps needed to ensure a quick, effective, and coordinated emergency response.
These drills are an important part of maintaining a safe school environment and help us continuously improve our readiness to protect all students, staff, and visitors.
Thank you for your support as we work to keep our campus safe. #bprd

Monday, the Arkansas SkyDome Planetarium came to visit the 3rd grade as they wrapped up their Literacy Space Unit! They brought space and NASA memorabilia for students to get to see and touch. In the inflatable planetarium, students watched a video about NASA and the Artemis Program. Students were also shown the night sky above Beebe, including all the constellations and planets visible from there. #besisthespottobe #bprd
