Today, Ms. Rogers class got up on their feet and had a carousel around the room! Each station had a task card that gave different character traits. Students had to decide with their group with trait matched the passage. Learning is Sweet! #bbelem #bprd

Mrs. White’s class started a book study over the book Frindle by Andrew Clements. Today students worked in groups to determine character traits, main idea, and key details about the first chapter.

Ms. Welsh, Mrs. Gordon’s student teacher, led her first STEM activity to end the week. Students worked in pairs to design and create a marble run. Everyone was incredibly engaged! #bbelem #bprd

Mrs. White’s class wrapped up ACT Aspire testing week with some fun STEM challenges.
On Thursday students worked in groups to construct a “rainbow bridge” and then tested their bridge to see how many pennies it could hold.
On Thursday students made paper helicopters and then went outside to battle them.

After the ACT Aspire test on Monday and Tuesday, Ms. Ussery and Mrs. Glaude’s classes participated in a STEM challenge. They got to use the following materials: 2 pieces of construction paper, 3 straws, 1 paper plate, tape, scissors, and a marble. They had to create a marble maze/marble run. I think there may be some future engineers in the 4th grade! #bbelem #bprd
