To end our novel study of “Hatchet” by Gary Paulsen, kiddos created board games to play with their class tomorrow. Ms. Brooks’ home room was tasked with creating a math game with a “Hatchet” theme that reviews math facts and Mrs. Gordon’s homeroom created literacy games to review the story and it’s elements. Students in Mrs. Birchfield's class had some reading time today. They got to choose a book and a place to sit, or lay. They are working towards completing the goal of reading and taking an AR test on 1 or 2 chapter books this nine weeks. #bbelem #bprd
Yesterday Mrs. White’s class celebrated ending Wit and Wisdom Module 2 with a STEM challenge. Module 2 covers lots of things about space, and the Apollo 11 Mission to the moon. Students designed, created, and tested out their own rockets! 🚀
