Ms. Ussery’s class was so very excited to meet their pen pals today from Mrs. Burks’ High School Key Club. They have been writing back and forth via Google Docs this year, which has been a great way to improve reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Thank you, Mrs. Burks and students! #bbelem

Today admin and counselors grilled hot dogs, cheeseburgers, marinated and seasoned chicken breasts, and asparagus for Teacher Appeciation Week. It also included the veggies for burgers, condiments, soft drinks, potato salad, chips, gourmet cookies, and sheet cake. Thank you First Baptist Church for donating the grill and Mr Ed Kropf for helping cook the burgers. Thank you Mr Orman for the donation to make it all possible. #bbelem

Books, books, books! Ms. Ussery and Mrs. Glaude’s classes were gifted the most amazing gift of books from the sweet Dr. Calvert. Each student had the opportunity to choose three books to become their own; to be read, loved, and to bring joy. We are so thankful for the kindness shown to us! ❤️ #bbelem

Mrs. Glaude and Ms. Ussery’s classes had the opportunity to research either an Arkansas State Park or a National Park and then create an informative brochure. We have now all been bitten by the travel bug! We love learning! #bbelem
