Today, Mrs. Manek’s class got to work at the Place Value Hospital! They reviewed all the place value skills they’ve learned by doing number surgery, checking patient symptoms, looking over x-rays, and sorting medicine in the pharmacy. These place value doctors were great at taking care of their patients!🥼🩺

4th grade has been learning about the circulatory system. One of the cool things we’ve learned is about the sinotrial node in the heart that acts as a natural pacemaker. Mr. Seth Thomson came and showed us what an actual pacemaker looks like when our sinotrial node isn’t working correctly! It was so cool!
