These Beebe High School students were recognized for high growth on the NWEA Map test: • Mackenzie Brundage • Weston Youngblood • Lendzi Bayles • Emily Davis • Oceanna Thomason • Gabriel Frazier Also, Landen McCullough was recognized for receiving the Character-in-Leadership award - a full tuition, room and board scholarship from the Air Force! He was one of only 100 winners in the country, and the ONLY winner in the state of Arkansas! #BPRD

Next up was Beebe High School. It was an honor to be able to recognize so many talented teachers from BHS! And the Beebe High School Teacher of the Year for 2023-24 is... Mandy Wolff! Congratulations to all! #BPRD

It has been an exciting morning at our schools as we celebrated our Teacher of the Year nominees and named our school-level winners! We are so proud of ALL of our teachers for their commitment to caring for and educating our students. First up was Beebe Jr. High. Nominees included: Lisa Smith, Tammy Jackson, and Rhonda McNeill. Thanks to the Local Food for Schools Assistance Grant from USDA, our Food Service Department just purchased 1,350 lbs. of Arkansas ground beef from Natural State Beef! All "scratch recipes" containing ground beef for the next several months will use Arkansas sourced, pasture raised, all natural, whole cow ground beef! We love local! #BPRD

Our Beebe Special Olympics team will be participating in a POLAR PLUNGE in Searcy on February 25th! The purpose of this event is to raise money for the Special Olympics program so that these students can participate in a variety of activities throughout the year. Due to the incoming inclement weather, Beebe School District will use an AMI Day tomorrow, January 31, 2023. District operations will be as follows: *All district buildings and offices will be closed, including Pre-K, Daycare, and *Before and After School Care. Before and After School Care will remain open for normal hours today, 1/30/23, ONLY. They will be closed tomorrow. *Teachers will post work on Google Classroom as students’ required work for the day. No live Google Meets will be required. *Teachers will be available via email and phone throughout the school day (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) to answer questions and provide support to students and parents. This includes general education teachers, GT teachers, activity teachers, interventionists, special education teachers, counselors, library media specialists, speech, OT, and PT. *We realize that many students may not have reliable internet access at home. Any student who is unable to complete their work at home will have 1 day for each day missed after returning to school to submit their work. Stay safe out there, Badgers! #BPRD

BHS | Rhetorical Appeals Mrs. Campbell's English classes have been studying rhetorical appeals. Today, students showcased their knowledge by presenting advertisements to the class based on an assigned rhetorical appeal! #BPRD

Today was Grandparents Day and the 100th Day of School at Little Badger Pre-K! Our little badgers loved sharing this special day with their families! #BPRD
