Advanced Child Care students received their Child Care Teacher certification. These students have completed three courses in Family & Consumer Sciences since their freshman year. In addition to the course work, they worked with children for at least 40 hours this year to earn the certification. A huge thank you goes out to CAPCA Beebe Head Start and Director Mrs. Martha Farmer, for always welcoming BHS students! #BPRD

Last night, we had the privilege of hosting a banquet for our Teachers and Employees of the Year. Congratulations once again to these deserving individuals! This was a small token of gratitude for the huge job they do every day. Thank you to all who attended and who made the event possible! We had a wonderful time celebrating our Central Office retirees yesterday! They enjoyed the company of old and new friends and remembered the many special times they have had over the years at Beebe Schools. GRADUATION UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast, we have determined that Beebe School District will start Class of 2023 Graduation ceremonies at 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐦 at 𝐁𝐫𝐨 𝐄𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦. At 6:00, there is only a 15% chance of rain, and keeping the Graduation at the Stadium is the best option to ensure all family and friends are able to attend. We realize this may cause some strain on families' time schedules, and we do apologize for this inconvenience. However, this will allow us to avoid forecasted rain later in the evening and keep the event open to all who want to attend. If you are unable to attend the ceremony live, we will have a live stream of Graduation. Congratulations to all who were honored at our May Board of Education Meeting! - 1. Jr. High Art students were recognized for their accomplishments this year. View their award winning artwork at bit.ly/jhart23! 2. Kierra “Kiki” Pickens was recognized for her long list of High School Softball accomplishments! This year, she set a new Beebe Softball single season homerun record of 17. She also was named 5A Central All Conference, 5A All State, and 5A All State Tournament team! 3. Jeremy Racca was recognized for his Sr. Track accomplishments this year! He set a new Beebe pole vault record of 14'8". He won 1st in 5A Central Conference and 5th in the 5A State Meet. He was also a member of the 4x200 relay team that won 2nd at State and set a new school record! 4. Dr. Scott Embrey was recognized for his 36 years of service in education and 35 years in the Beebe School District. Dr. Embrey has served in many roles and capacities and is respected by all who have had the opportunity to work with him. Congratulations on your retirement Dr. Embrey - you will be greatly missed! Please view this update regarding Graduation from Dr. Nail: Good morning, As you know, the Class of 2023 is preparing to celebrate High School Graduation! This is a special time for both our students and their families. Graduating our Seniors at Bro Erwin Stadium is the best scenario for our students, their families, and our community. Due to the fluctuating chance of rain on Friday, we are monitoring the weather conditions closely. With this in mind, we will consider the following three (3) options in preparation for Graduation: 1. We will keep the Graduation ceremony as planned, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Bro Erwin Stadium. 2. If the forecast calls for elevated chances of rain during the scheduled time of 7:30 p.m., we will move the start time to 6:00 p.m. I know this option may place some stress on family schedules, but it will allow us to keep Graduation at Bro Erwin Stadium. 3. Our final option will be moving the ceremony indoors to Badger Arena at the regularly scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. As you know, this will limit the number of family and community members who are able to attend. If we are forced to use this option, we will provide a livestream of the ceremony in the Auditorium for overflow guests to attend. The administration is monitoring the situation. We will announce final plans by Noon on Friday, May 19th. We understand this will be short notice, but these are the options we have at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this process.

Applications for enrollment in virtual learning for the 2023-24 school year are OPEN today, 5/16, through next FRIDAY, 5/26. Any student entering grades 7-12 must submit the application by the deadline to be considered for virtual learning next year. This INCLUDES all students who are currently virtual learners.
