Congratulations to Chandler Brown, who placed 2nd in the 5A State Bowling Tournament! Today, he competed in the Meet of Champions! He achieved a 658 series and was awarded the Silver medal! Great work! #BPRD

We have a National Merit Finalist on our hands! Brady McMullen was named a National Merit Semifinalist in the Fall and has just received word that he reached Finalist status! This prestigious ranking means he will be in the running for one of approximately 7,250 National Merit Scholarships. Winners will be announced in March. Congratulations and good luck Brady! #BPRD
If you see an SRO today, be sure and tell them thank you for the job they do! School resource officers play a unique role in our schools as mentors, law educators, and law enforcement officers. They serve as important bridges between youth, law enforcement, and the community. Thank you, Beebe SROs, for all you do to serve our schools! #BPRD
Our Special Olympics students had a great time playing Floorball last Friday. And they won a silver medal in the Masters division (ages 22+)! Way to go! #BPRD

February is CTE (Career & Technical Education) Month, and we are proud to showcase all of the opportunities provided to our students through our many CTE offerings!
Today, the Beebe Chamber of Commerce held their February meeting at the Beebe High School CTE building, where they enjoyed lunch prepared by our Culinary Arts Department, heard a brief presentation about our offerings, then took a tour of the building and heard from student leaders in each program. 501 Basketball is a special publication of 501 LIFE Magazine that celebrates a group of exceptional high school players in Central Arkansas. Taylor and Zack are among the group of 47 student athletes who were chosen based on the difference they make on and off the court. Way to go! #BPRD
Ms. Poertner's classes at Beebe High School are celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth! Economics students researched African American entrepreneurs, and U.S. history students learned about some famous African American Arkansans! #BPRD
Beebe Badger Drama attended the Arkansas Thespian Festival this weekend. Students can compete in individual competitions called “Thespys.” The competition had a record number of entries this year, over 600. We had two entries score “Superior” among the best in the state…and a “Best in Show!”

Mr. Shipp took his sports medicine students to the AATA High School Sports Medicine Symposium. Upper level sports medicine students worked on emergency management of injuries, participated in a cadaver lab, and saw an ACL reconstruction surgery! #BPRD
