Yesterday, our AFJROTC Kitty Hawk Air Society spent the morning reading to Beebe Elementary students! The Kitty Hawk Air Society is a national AFJROTC academic honor society that recognizes academic and military achievement by cadets, provides additional leadership/educational opportunities, and encourages excellence. Beebe HOSA just wrapped up their state competition, and they knocked it out of the park! They competed in 13 different competitions and came home with 11 medals! The following students will advance to Nationals in Dallas this summer: 1st Place - Public Service Announcement - Nataleigh Lindsey, Joy Overstreet, Ava McClure (View the video at bit.ly/hosapsa23 - it is worth the watch!) 1st Place - Foundations of Medical Reading - Kaylen Howell 2nd Place- Math for Health Careers - Isabella Wiley 3rd Place - HOSA Bowl - Nicholas Cummings, Brady McMullen, Chloe Peterson, and Rinrada ‘Cake’ Seeboonruang 3rd Place - Prepared Speaking - Henely Sanders 3rd Place - Life Threatening Situations - Ellie Stricklin Congratulations to all of these students on a job well done as well as all 28 Beebe HOSA competitors who participated. Let's give a big shout out to our Badger Bowling teams! Both the boys and girls teams did not lose a single match all year, and both qualified for State! The girls team finished 9th, and the boys team finished 4th, missing 3rd place by only 12 pins! They also had one all state qualifier, Chandler Brown, who got to compete in the Meet of Champions.
