The Badger Family Food Pantry is here to support Beebe students and their families! 🥫🥖🍎

The pantry is open on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Families can stop by to receive food and household essentials.

🇺🇸Friday in Mrs. Barkhimers class- we read The Man in the Red Bandanna as we learned about the importance of 9/11 and the helpers who served others on that day. Students reflected on what it means to be a hero and that everyday people can be heroes too. 🇺🇸

Students in Mrs. Lewis’ classes read “The Man in the Red Bandanna” and did an activity to honor those who were effected by September 11th. We learned that even when things are going on around us to search for the good. Welles Crowther,The Man in the Red Bandanna, was the good. We remember. #9/11 #PatriotDay #BESistheSpottoBe

🌽 From Farm to Cafeteria! 🌽

Our 4th graders got a hands-on agriculture experience last week by helping our amazing cafeteria ladies shuck fresh corn for this week’s lunch! For many of our students, it was their very first time shucking an ear of corn, and they absolutely loved it.

We continued the learning with our Arkansas Ag in the Classroom Corn Ag Reader, exploring how corn is grown in Arkansas, the different types and uses of corn, and the journey our food takes from the farm to our table. 🌱🚜🍽️

A huge thank you to our cafeteria staff for turning lunch prep into an agricultural learning experience our students will remember!
