👻 RED RIBBON WEEK: HALLOWEEN DAY! 👻🎃

🌟 BES SPOTLIGHT Students! 🌟 🦡❤️ These students are being recognized for their hard work, positive attitudes, kindness, leadership, and the ways they make BES a better place each day. We are so proud of these students for being great examples of what it means to be a Badger! Keep working hard, making good choices, and letting your light shine! ✨ Congratulations, Badgers! You are the SPOT! ❤️🤍 #besisthespottobe #bprd

We’ve raised $3,000 so far! 🎉 We’re making great progress toward our goal of $20,000 for playground updates.

As part of our Freedom Run fundraiser, students are also taking part in a fun character program focused on positive traits. Today, they explored a kitchen in South Korea while learning about patience (you’re welcome 😄).

Tonight, our challenge is to get a donation from another state.

Whether you donate, share your student’s page, or volunteer your time, it all helps Beebe Elementary School. Thanks so much for your support!

🦇 Learning is always more fun when we get creative in literacy! ✨ Text Structure has been our focus this week, and we knew we had to find a fun way to bring our learning to life. Tuesday, we read Stellaluna, a fiction story about a little bat, and Wednesday we switched gears to read a nonfiction article titled Bats. After exploring these two texts on a similar topic, students put their comprehension skills to the test with a quiz. Then came the fun part… we made our very own flying bats! We had two fun-filled days of reading, learning, and creating while strengthening our literacy skills. We love finding ways to make learning meaningful, memorable, and FUN! -Mrs. Barkhimer, Ms. Brooks and Mrs. Whites’s class family

❤️ What’s Happening in Mrs. Bowser’s ELA Class? 📚 We’ve been learning about what it means to have a great heart and reading about inspirational people who demonstrate kindness, courage, and perseverance. This week, we learned about Wilma Rudolph and wrote opinion paragraphs using text evidence to explain how she showed a great heart! We are proud of our students for thinking critically and supporting their opinions with evidence! ❤️
