BEEBE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
In the event of bad weather or hazardous conditions that originate over night, announcements regarding the closing of school will be communicated by 6:30 a.m.
The following methods of communication will be used to inform students, parents, faculty, and staff of school closings: Phone Message System, Beebe Public School web page, radio, and television.

Little Rock - Channels: 4, 7, 11, & 16
RADIO
Searcy - KWCK-FM 99.9 / KRAN-FM 99.1
If the hazardous conditions are only temporary in the morning, then school may open one (1) hour later or at 9:00 a.m. Bus drivers will start their routes one (1) hour later.
Some conditions may call for routes being adjusted to “SNOW AND ICE ROUTES” due to specific roads being worse than others. The routes will be published in the paper and may be found on the district web page.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS SHOULD LISTEN TO THE RADIO OR WATCH TV. PLEASE DO NOT CALL SCHOOL EMPLOYEES REGARDING SCHOOL BEING OPEN.
PROCEDURE FOR EARLY DISMISSAL DURING
THE SCHOOL DAY:
If it is necessary to dismiss school early due to weather changes, there will be at least a 45 minute warning to allow all the bus drivers and parents to prepare. All four methods of communication will be used to help inform parents of the early dismissal.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow for the first day back to school after the winter break. For the month of January we are collecting chilli, canned tomatoes, and crackers for the Badger Food Pantry. Thanks for your continued help!

School will be dismissed at 1:00 today. We will release car riders at 12:40.

First day of second semester is January 3, 2017.
Starting today, December 15, 2016, we will have a new security feature at our front door. Please come to the office door and push the button to the right, which is located on the brick wall. The ladies in the office will release the door for visitors to enter the main office. This new security feature helps us to ensure the safety of our students here at Beebe Early Childhood. (Notes were sent home today.) Thanks!
Class parties will be held tomorrow from 8:45-10:15. Parents (2) are welcome to attend. Due to the adjusted daily schedule, all lunched will be served from 10:30-11:00 and will only be available to BEC students. Thank-you for helping us make this day special for our students!
