We will have 2 Incentive Days at the end of this semester. Students who qualify will be excused the last 2 days,.
Students who miss 4 or less unexcused days and have no discipline referals this semester will get Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th, off excused.
Students who miss 4 or less days will get Friday, December 20th off excused.
Teachers will send letters home soon with this information and if your students qualifies.
We have been reading a fun story this week to identify story elements: characters, setting, events, problems & solutions. We practiced retelling the story in sequence and also had fun practicing additions. ~Mrs. Stinnett

The 1st grade music program, Our Night Before Christmas, is
scheduled for Thursday, December 5, in the Beebe Schools
Auditorium on the main campus. Your child has been hard at
work in music for the past several weeks learning all the music
for the program.

THANKSGIVING BOX HALLWAY PARADE
We are reading the story Balloons Over Broadway in class. The book tells the story of the puppeteer Tony Sarg, and captures his genius, dedication, zest for play, and his long-lasting gift to America: The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. To celebrate our learning, the Beebe Early Childhood will be participating in a building wide parade on Friday, November 22. If your child would like to participate, please help them decorate a cardboard box as a parade float. Examples are included at the bottom of this letter. You may use any small box that you have at home such as a cereal box, small amazon box, shoebox, etc. If you are able, please attach a string or rope to the front of the float so that your child can pull their float down the hallway during our parade. If you need a box, please reach out to your child’s teacher soon. ---------------------------------Floats are due on Nov. 18th.-----------------------------------------

We will be pre-registering all visitors so please fill out the bottom portion of the letter that will be sent home and return it to school by Tuesday, November 12th so that we can plan accordingly. Please list the visitor's name and date of birth. If your visitor does not pre-riegister, they MUST check in the office with their driver's license to get a Hall Pass sticker. Limit of 4 visitors per BEC student.
