Each May, Better Hearing & Speech Month (BHSM) provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) members in providing life-altering treatment.
BEC is thankful to have a great team of educators and speech language pathologist (SLP) at our school to help our students with better speech and hearing. We are proud to have Jamie Jenkins, Deaf Education K-12, Paige Brown, Speech Assistant, Allison Raper, Lead SLP and Haylynn Moore, SLP.

Save the date! The Kindergarten Music Program will be May 2, 2023. There will be two performances. Please arrive fifteen minutes before your child's performance time.
April is Occupational Therapy Month! OT helps kids play, improves their school performance, and aids their daily activities. It also boosts their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. With OT, kids can: Develop fine motor skills so they can grasp and release toys and develop good handwriting or computer skills.
