Lady Badger Basketball | Giving Back
Today, the Sr. Lady Badger Basketball team served Thanksgiving Dinner at the Beebe Retirement Center! We are proud of these student athletes for giving back to their community! #BPRD



BES | Thanksgiving Feast 🦃
Today, Mrs. Jodie Balogh's class held their annual Thanksgiving Feast! Students' families were able to attend and enjoy the meal prepared by the class. In the days leading up to the feast, students took a shopping trip to Walmart to gather ingredients, prepared the food for cooking (including peeling 10 pounds of potatoes!), and made decorations for the day! All of their hard work paid off for a fun and delicious occasion. #BPRD




This week, students in Grades 2-7 received the Arkansas Kids Guide: The U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights from the Arkansas Department of Education. They have enjoyed learning new and interesting facts about our nation's founding documents! Thank you, DESE, for this valuable resource! #BPRD




🏆 OFFICE FOR EDUCATION POLICY AWARDS 🏆
We are SO proud of the work of our teachers and students to show continuous growth each year! Congratulations Beebe Junior High, Beebe High School, and Beebe Middle School on being recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as schools where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire!
The OEP creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards in which they recognize schools with high student academic growth.

BHS | Food Safety & Nutrition | Spaghetti Chefs 🍝
Mrs. Davis’ Food Safety & Nutrition classes cooked spaghetti last week. The students practiced proper hygiene, cleaning, and safe cooking as learned from ServSafe! #BPRD



BJHS | Equation Riddle 🟰
Ms. Hoffpauir and Mr. B's 8th grade math classes have been practicing solving equations with variables on both sides. They did a walk around in the cafeteria where each equation answer gave a letter to answer the riddle, "What did the calculator say to the student?"

BMS | Badger Buddies
At Beebe Middle School, the Badger Buddies initiative is helping to build connections among students! For this activity, two groups of students come to
have breakfast and play games with students in the self-contained classroom each morning! #BPRD
BHS | Life & Fitness Nutrition | Healthy Hut Visit🧋
Last week, Mrs. Davis’ Life & Fitness Nutrition students visited Healthy Hut and learned about the nutritional content and benefits of
the products offered. They also got to try samples of some popular
flavors of teas and shakes. The students love getting out and seeing
what our community has to offer! #BPRD

BHS | Special Olympics Inclusive Practices
These students traveled to Conway to meet with other students from across the state to find ways to get schools involved in inclusive practices through Special Olympics. Their advisors, Mr. Ponder and Ms. Betcher, said they took away some great ideas that the students look forward to implementing here at Beebe Schools! #BPRD

Happy Veterans Day and THANK YOU to all veterans! We have a full day of celebrations, starting with the Elementary Freedom Run at 9:00, followed by Veterans Day Ceremonies at the Middle School (1:30) and High School (2:30). We look forward to honoring those who have served. #BPRD

This week has been STEAM Week - a week dedicated to celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics education. Mrs. Lindsay Davis' class enjoyed learning about careers in STEAM fields. Then they completed a STEAM challenge to build a raft that would allow a piece of candy to float! #BPRD #STEAMWeek
