Central Office is losing two of the best! Mrs. Kim Starkey and Mrs. Kristi Herrin are retiring this year. We are so happy for them but will miss their presence greatly. As a token of how much we appreciate their service to Beebe Schools, Dr. Nail awarded them both with a challenge coin. Best of luck in your next chapter, Kim and Kristi! #BPRD

For K-1st, 3rd-4th, and 7th-10th grades, this is the week to "show what you know!" State assessments are this week for a majority of our students. Please ensure your child has a good night's sleep, breakfast, and arrives to school on time. Also, for 7th-10th grades, please ensure your child brings their chromebook to school fully charged each day this week. Thank you for your partnership in helping our students show what they have learned this year. We know they will do great! Each day’s schedule can be viewed in the attached image. #BPRD

Our migrant families attended a PAC (Parent Advisory Council) meeting on Thursday, April 20th. There was a great turnout and lots of fun was had! Students enjoyed STEM challenges, playing with slime, LEGOS, and building towers and bridges out of plastic eggs and wooden craft sticks. Door prizes including an air fryer, toaster oven, cookware set, storage containers, and more were given to each family. Thank you to all who attended! #BPRD

BES | Pie in the Face! 🥧
Some of Ms. Manek's 2nd graders earned the right to give her and her student intern a pie in the face! The lucky winners were those who scored highest in Reading and Math and had the highest growth in Reading and Math on their NWEA assessment! Looks like a few students got to taste the pie, as well! #BPRD

✨ Badger Who Shines ✨
Elijah Harvey, 6th Grade, is being recognized as today's Badger Who Shines! He is intentional about showing kindness to everyone, and that does not go unnoticed. Thank you and great job, Elijah! #BPRD

At Beebe School District, our four core values are SAFETY, EQUITY, COMMUNITY, and GROWTH. We are excited to be starting a new practice of delivering "challenge coins" to staff and students who do a great job of living out our core values. Yesterday, we started at Beebe Middle School, where Dr. Nail hand delivered challenge coins to Ms. Cathy Kidder, Ms. Damara Moore, and Mr. Don Money. These three represent our values in more ways than one, and we are so proud they are Badgers! #BPRD

On Friday, April 14th, Beebe HIPPY students and families visited the Beebe Fire Station, where they also met members of the Beebe Police Department and EMT Ambulance Service. A special thank you goes out to the community helpers who took time out of their schedule to visit and educate our HIPPY students about safety precautions! #BPRD
