Mrs. Garrison’s Kindergarten class participated in Election Day activities! They learned about why and how we vote, and how important it is to use your voice. Students then voted for their choice of afternoon snack: Popcorn or Chips! #BPRD

Mackenzie Ballinger, Annie Mae DiFlorio, and Naomi DiFlorio were chosen to sit on U.S. Senator John Boozman's, Congressional Youth Cabinet. They will meet with fellow students from across Arkansas and will be looking at several significant legislative issues. They will be a part of a legislative group that researches, defends, and drafts a proposal for a legislative solution for an issue that they will get to present to Senator Boozman in the spring. This is a great opportunity for these students, and we are so proud to have them representing Beebe School District! #BPRD



BMS | Owl Investigation 🦉
Today, Mrs. Whitehead’s 5th grade class is making observations and learning about owls by dissecting their pellets in a science lab! #BPRD



Our Jr. Badgers finished their season with a 13-9 victory over Searcy last night! Way to go Badgers! #BPRD

Beebe Jr. High held a pep rally today to cheer on the Jr. Football Badgers as they prepared to take on Searcy in their final game of the season! #BPRD

Due to the inclement weather expected tomorrow night, the Badger Football game vs Maumelle has been moved up to 6:00. Senior night activities will begin at 5:20. Senior student athletes and their parents will need to be at the field by 5:00. Thank you for your understanding.

We are currently participating in the annual Holiday Cards 4 Military Challenge! Many students will have the opportunity to write a card during school, but we welcome any and all cards from home as well! Please follow the guidelines on the attached flyer. Beebe School District was well represented at the 'Teachers' Night Out' with Economics Arkansas! The professional development session was led by Marsha McMasters of Economics Arkansas and entrepreneur Paul Guess! We received extensive information that will be helpful with incorporating economics in our classrooms. #BPRD




Nominations are now open for Teacher of the Year AND Classified Employee of the Year!
We are so excited to be continuing this tradition! If you know of a teacher or employee who deserves to be nominated, please submit your nomination at the links below. You MAY nominate more than one person!
A few reminders about eligibility:
• Teachers/Employees who are nominated will have the opportunity to fill out the application for the Building-Level award. Building-level winners will then move on for the chance to be Beebe School District Teacher/Employee of the Year.
• To be eligible - A teacher must have completed at least 3 years of certified teaching within the district. A classified employee must have completed at least 3 years of employment within the district.
• You MAY nominate activity teachers, GT teachers, library media specialists, and counselors for Teacher of the Year!
• Anyone may nominate, including: supervisors, colleagues, parents, students, staff, and community members.
• Administrators are not eligible for these awards.

BHS | Cinderella
Yesterday, BHS Drama club loved seeing “Cinderella” at Harding University! They also had a great experience getting to speak with members of the cast and got a close look behind the scenes! #BPRD

Important Update for Bus Riders:
Main Street is currently closed at the intersection of Main and Mississippi and will be for 2-3 days. If your child is a bus rider and you live on Main Street or Mississippi Street (on the Main Street end), buses may be delayed. Our Transportation Dept. will do the best they can to get students to their address, but there may be some stops that buses cannot directly access. If this is a concern for you, please make arrangements to pick up your child until the closure is complete. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
