BHS | Emerging Math Leader Awards abound at Beebe High School today! Mrs. Ashley Brinkman was presented the Emerging Leader award from the Arkansas Association of Mathematics Leaders for her exemplary leadership and service to her school and students! BHS | Journalism Education Association Award This morning, Mrs. Amber Chester received a pleasant surprise when Jostens representative Natasha Durham showed up to officially present her the 2022 Journalism Education Association Rising Star Award! Each year, the JEA awards five teachers nationwide with its Rising Star Award to honor their commitment to scholastic journalism and media advising. Congratulations Mrs. Chester on this much deserved honor! #BPRD

BMS | Scoops Skills! Last week, Coach Crafton's Middle School P.E. classes changed up the routine and learned the game of Scoops with their peers! #BPRD

BHS | Future-Minded Approach This morning, BHS 11th graders heard from John Baylor, founder and head teacher of the ACT/SAT prep program OnToCollege, about what they can do NOW to prepare for their future! He shared ways that OnToCollege can help students no matter their career path and broke down why it is so important to put forth their best effort on the ACT in order to open up endless scholarship and career opportunities. If you are a parent of a high school student, we encourage you to chat with them about their future plans and what they can do to set themselves up for success! Remember, our counselors and teachers are always here to help if you have questions along the way. #BPRD

| Migrant Families Holiday Party | On December 8th, the BSD Migrant Program held their holiday party! Families enjoyed holiday story time presented by Beebe Public Library as well as a BBQ dinner, games, crafts, and door prizes. Each family received a gift basket, board games, backpacks with school supplies, and books! Thank you to all who organized and attended this fun event for our migrant families! #BPRD

🎳 Special Olympics State Bowling 🎳 Our Special Olympics and Unified Sports teams competed in State Bowling this week and did a great job! They came. home with a 1st place, a 2nd place, and two 4th place finishes. Way to go! #BPRD

BHS | Guest Speaker Amanda Lewis, 7-12 Asst. Curriculum Director, visited Mrs. Wolff’s Introduction to Teaching class to teach students about Science of Reading. The class is thankful for her knowledge in the area of reading & the students love seeking advice from her! #BPRD

Today's Badger Who Shines is Haley Jones, 12th grade. Not only is Haley a great helper to her peers, she also spends her afternoons working with the little ones at Beebe Badger Childcare and is loved by all. Keep shining bright, Haley! #BPRD

BJHS | Virtual Reality Students in Mr. Ashmore's Career Development classes are using virtual headsets and software to experience hands on training for vocational careers! The VR Headsets were loaned to the classes by Wilbur Mills School Coop. #BPRD

BHS | Fruit Tart Lab 🥝🍓 Recently, Mrs. Davis’ Food Safety & Nutrition classes practiced safety in the kitchens applying skills learned from ServSafe and made Mini Sugar Cookie Fruit Tarts. They really enjoyed the lab, especially the taste testing! #BPRD

At today's District Leadership Team meeting, Nurse Brandi Crowell was awarded "The Beebe" for her willingness to jump in and help wherever she is needed. Beebe School District is lucky to have Nurse Crowell leading our team of school nurses! #BPRD
