The governor announced today that schools will remain closed to on site instruction for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Therefore, we have added guidance to our district’s extended closure plan that will help us navigate through the end of the school year, which officially concludes on May 22. Bus 65 (Antioch area), Bus 62 (El Paso area), and Bus 61 (Swinging Bridge area) are running late today. If you are expecting them for your meals, please be patient as they will arrive later than normal. #BPRD
Our food service staff rocks! They prepared 16,804 meals this week for our students! With the help of the maintenance and transportation staff, they were able to deliver those meals to our students. #BPRD
Chromebooks and hard copy packets will be disbursed to students who still need them in a drive-through process on Tuesday, April 7, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am at Beebe Early Childhood. Anyone who has not yet received a Chromebook or hard copy AMI packet may pick them up at this time. Also during this time, a technology help desk will be available to assist with any technology issues you may be having. Families who indicated on the survey that they did not have a device and those who have since requested a device will have one available to them. Previously completed AMI work will be collected when students return to school.

It has been all hands on deck this week to meet our students' needs! From meal service to preparing chromebooks for student distribution, our food service, transportation, maintenance, & technology staff have stepped up to do whatever it takes. Our first round of meals are on the way! Students, please be at your bus stop to receive today’s lunch and tomorrow’s breakfast. #BPRD
We will begin running afternoon bus routes starting at 10:45 am today to deliver breakfast and lunch to ALL students. You can expect the bus to arrive at your stop approximately the same amount of time it would arrive after 3:30 pm on a normal school day. (Example: If your student is normally dropped off at 4 pm, the meal bus will arrive at approximately 11:15 am every day). Meals will also still be available for pick up at the BHS North Cafeteria from 11:00 - 11:30 am. This is for EVERY CHILD from the ages of 0-18, regardless of their current school meal status. We encourage EVERYONE to take advantage of this opportunity! #BPRD
Our food service department has lots of extra 1/2 pints of milk (both chocolate and white) with a best by date of March 30. Rather than throwing it away, they would like to give it to anyone who needs it. Anyone interested may come to the High School North Cafeteria beginning at 11:30 am tomorrow, Friday, March 27. They will be first come, first served while supplies last. #BPRD
