Emerson Ray is a freshman at Beebe High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Whitney Ray. Emerson is a five-year member of the Choir, a three-year member of Lady Badger Basketball team, a two-year member of the Track team, and a one-year member of Cheer squad. Outside of school, Emerson attends Union Valley Baptist Church. She also enjoys binge watching TV, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends. Emerson plans to attend Harding University to play basketball and run track.\r\n

Ethan Blaeuer is a sophomore at Beebe High School. He is the son of Ashley and Jacob McCormick. Ethan is a four-year member of the Badger Basketball team, and a one-year member of Football. Outside of school, he attends New Life Church where he serves in the youth group. He also coaches recreation basketball in Cabot. Ethan enjoys playing sports and hunting. Ethan plans to pursue a career as a financial advisor.\r\n

Laney Longing is a junior at Beebe High School. She is the daughter of Casey and Lynn Longing. Laney is a one-year member of the Student Council. Outside of school, Laney is a member of Union Valley Baptist Church. She enjoys hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. Laney plans to go attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro to become a registered nurse.\r\n

Rachel Rudd is a senior at Beebe High School. She is the daughter of Bill and Judith Rudd. Rachel is a four-year member of Key Club (Officer for two years) and BBTV, a three-year member of the Spanish Club and NHS, and a one-year member of the Yearbook. Outside of school, Rachel enjoys art, reading, singing, playing video games, telling stories, and photography. Rachel plans to attend Arkansas State University at Jonesboro to major in Creative Media Production and minor in writing.\r\n

Congratulations to Emerson, Ethan, Laney, and Rachel for being chosen as Beebe High School May Students of the Month. These students were treated to breakfast as a part of their celebration. The 2020-2021 Student of the Month program is being sponsored by members of our local community, including Jim Wooten, First Security Bank, and Casa Mojitos.\r\n
