Happy Educational Support Professionals Day! Your dedication and hard work contribute immensely to the success of our educational community. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to the growth of our students and the overall learning environment. Your efforts are truly appreciated!
The day honors a long list of professionals who keep schools running smoothly. They include all secretaries, paraeducators, cafeteria workers, maintenance workers, bus drivers, and the others who support educators, school leadership, and the students, too. These professionals do their part in making public schools exceptional for every child so they can be safe, learn, grow and achieve.

Reading with your child not only encourages literacy skills, but also allows quality time for you and your child. Research shows reading at home boosts vocabulary, language, syntax, and better oral language which correlates with higher reading abilities in upper grade levels. Here is your monthly parent newsletter from Allison Raper, M.S., CCC-SLP, district lead speech-language pathologist focusing on reading at home.

Reminder: Each year, we celebrate 𝓡𝓮𝓭 𝓡𝓲𝓫𝓫𝓸𝓷 𝓦𝓮𝓮𝓴 by encouraging good choices and excellent behavior. Our theme this year is “𝔹𝕖 𝕂𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕄𝕚𝕟𝕕” and we will celebrate it Monday, October 30th - Friday, November 3rd. We are also having a food drive in order to support our ᗷᗩᗪᘜᗴᖇ ᖴOOᗪ ᑭᗩᑎTᖇY. Instead of doing canned goods, the Pantry has asked for specific items that they are in need of. Whichever class from each grade level collects the most food will be given a pizza party on Friday afternoon. This will not take the place of the student’s normal lunch. If you plan to participate in the food drive, the Badger Food Pantry is asking that you send kitchen staples and holiday baking items. Thank you so much for your support as we encourage all of our students to make good choices!
