The Badger Family Center is housing parenting classes! We know that raising
children isn't always the easiest task, but we're better together! Join us for
community and conversations about parenting approaches, the highs and lows
of foster parenting, co-parenting struggles, coping skills, and everything in
between. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

"Purple Up for Military Kids" is a campaign to show support and appreciation for children of military families. The color purple represents the combination of all branches of the military, as it is a blend of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue. During Purple Up events, people are encouraged to wear purple as a visible way to acknowledge the sacrifices and resilience of military children. It's a wonderful initiative to recognize the unique challenges these kids face and to honor their strength and courage.
We will wear purple on Friday, April 19th to honor these amazing kids at BEC!

Today, we took a nature walk and talked about how nouns, verbs, and adjectives are all around us! After the walk, we used chalk to write the nouns. Then, we practiced writing sentences to describe the different things we observed on our walk.
