The Badger Family Pantry will be giving away food on Wednesday, March 13th.
Ms. Tacker’s class worked together on marking up words that follow the phonics rules we have learned about (digraphs, blends, glued sounds, magic e, floss rule, and even our secret stories we’ve been discussing!) After marking the words up, they drew the picture that went with the word! #FUNdations #BPRD

Book picnic & Leap day lessons, our day was busy and fun! The highlight of the day was a frog leaping contest. 🐸 Finalists were Braelynn and David. The champion was David whose frog leaped 58 inches!!

We will be wrapping up Read Across America Week with a Book Character Parade on Friday, March 1st! Students may dress up as a book character and bring the book with them to school. We will also be kicking off our March Book Madness fun!

We have been reading a book, Feelings, by Aliki this week. We have discussed different adjectives to express emotions, and students wrote stories about the time they felt happy, sad, upset, etc. We had fun drawing Emoji-like faces to show different feelings. 😆😑😔😄
