This week in Mrs. Belew's math classes we started a new unit on ratios and rates! Students understood the language of ratios so well that they polled the class on a question that interested them and put the results as ratios and equivalent ratios! They loved creating posters to showcase their interests using ratios in the hallway. In science, both classes continued their Energy Unit. Mrs. Belew's homeroom put their kinetic and potential energy knowledge to the test with a rubber band lab and Mr. Money's homeroom created insulated houses to further their understandings of thermal energy and insulators!
