Mrs. Kurck's class has been reviewing figurative language and implementing this into their narrative writing. We have also been completing literary analysis; studying the author's craft and determining the "strong lead" sentences that authors use within their text to "hook" the reader. Scholars then use these examples to create strong lead sentences within their own writing.
