Beebe Pre-K

Parents with children currently in Badger PreK will NOT be required to attend Kindergarten registration. Existing student folders will automatically be sent to the Beebe Early Childhood Building so they will be registered for the 2020/2021 school year.

Since BPS will be closed due to sickness on February 3 & 4, 2020, Badger PreKindergarten Enrollment Packs for the 20/21 school year will be accepted on Wednesday, February 5th. Thank you!

Due to the rain, our PreK Tailgating Party WILL be held in the Elementary Cafeteria (big A-framed room).

Graduation DVDs can be picked up today at Beebe Elementary's Main Office between 2:00-3:00pm or until June 5th (if your child is at school today, they will bring their DVD home this afternoon). After that: the remaining DVDs will be sent to Kindergarten for pick up in August (child's name will be on DVD and given to their Kindergarten teacher).

Parents of '19-'20 students: If you have NOT been contacted regarding an appointment for Developmental Screening, please call the PreK office @ 882-5463 ext 1117. If your child is currently in BEEBE Head Start or Childcare Programs, they will be screened during their school day!

PARENTS: Badger PreK will dismiss at 1:30pm on April 26, 2019 due to BHS Senior Parade!

Little Badger PreK (ABC program) still has a few openings for the 2019-2020 school year (students must be four-years old by August 1, 2019)! Our “Arkansas Better Chance for School Success” (ABC) program, contains high-quality Pre-Kindergarten classrooms funded by the Arkansas Department of Education. Each classroom is staffed with a certified teacher and an Instructional Assistant (with CDA credentials). Our ABC program is tuition-free! Families must meet state requirements concerning income. Badger PreK FIELD TRIP DEADLINE is coming up! Please have all needed documents turned in to your child's teacher by Thursday, April 11, 2019! We have extra copies if your original has been misplaced! Thank you!

Current Badger PreK students are NOT required to go through Beebe Kindergarten Registration! All folders will rollover to Kindergarten. We DO encourage all of our students and parents to attend the upcoming Kindergarten Parent Night, which will be held in April! #bprd

Read Across America Week's "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" Day in PreK! Wednesday, February 27, 2019 will be "Hat Day". Wear your favorite hat as we read "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss!

PreK Read Across America/Dr.Seuss Week Theme Days: M 2/25: Dress in red or blue! T 2/26: Dress as your favorite career or college jersey/shirt! W 2/27: Hat Day! Th 2/28: Wear green! F 3/1: PJs or Comfy Clothes!

It's Valentine Week in PreK! Unit: Valentine's Day. Letter of the Week: Vv. Colors & Shapes: Pink/Purple/Heart. Skills: Begins to use strategies to resolve conflicts. Uses letter-like shapes, symbols, and letters to convey meaning. Understands purpose for writing.

2019-2020 PreK Registration Update: We had a GREAT turnout for the opening of our enrollment period! We are going through each folder thoroughly. As they are processed (next week), parents should expect a phone call from our office to confirm official admittance. Thank you!
