Nikko
Hello students and families! My name is Nikko, and I am the school therapy dog at Beebe Early Childhood. Mrs. Jones adopted me from CARE for animals in August. Ever since then we have been best buddies! Before Mrs. Jones adopted me, I was rescued by the CARE family and enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program. There I worked very diligently on my obedience training. While I was waiting to find my fur-ever home with Mrs. Jones, I lived in some foster homes. There were some really nice people that took care of me until I found my new family. Now I have a big family at the school! I love to play with my toys, fetch balls, and eat yummy treats. But the thing I love most is to be with my humans. I love them so much, and they come in all shapes and sizes. I especially love the little ones. I get so excited when they come to visit me and rub my belly. Right now I am in doggy school. I get to go visit my teacher every week, and we work on more obedience training. Soon we will be working on my service dog requirements. While I'm working on my degree in doggy school, I help Mrs. Jones in her office. I can't wait until I can go in the school and be with all my little humans! They love me so much, and I love them even more. If you are visiting at the school, I hope you will come see me. I am such a sweet and lovable girl. Thank you for letting me work with your little humans this year!
