Science- We have been working with a sister class in Washington, trying to help them determine why fish are dying in the waters close to their school. This week we have been discussing acids and bases. We have talked about how they are helpful, but can be harmful at the same time. We will be testing some water samples from their area, trying to determine if the water is too acidic for the fish. The students are really enjoying this joint research.
Math-We started multiplying fractions this week and we have determined that multiplying is much easier then adding and subtracting.
