As we ring in the New Year we begin math by introducing algebra. Variables and Patterns is the new unit that we are starting with. The students collected data from doing a two minute jumping jacks fitness test. Students then take their data and place on tables and graphs. They will also make observations and predictions from their graphs. Lots of energy was used during the first day back!
