Team Davis/Vaden had a wonderful first quarter in science and math. Scholars participated in many exciting labs in science. They designed their own experiment and conducted a mystery powder lab.
In math, scholars worked on place value, decimals, and multi-digit multiplication. Scholars played math games to reinforce concepts learned in class.
During enrichment, Team Davis/Vaden worked with Team Bledsoe/Whitehead on a straw tower challenge. We had some very interesting designs.
We are continuing to work hard during the second quarter. We will start our units on simple machines and division soon.
